When stitched references, from one idea after another, while adding layers that devalue the horror genre, Resureksyon feels so lost in its own world when the summed entirety is getting stuck inside the Labyrinth while being chased by a pissed off Minotaur.
Its premise entices greatly, granted the unsuspecting "visitor" that transcends into a supposed enjoyable outbreak. The continuity is greatly affected when portraying the rural region especially with pieces that made the film unwatchable. This includes the annoying performance of Niño Muhlach, an effort in animation that doesn't fit, and a standoff that reminds you of a scene in that last Twilight movie.
Nowadays, the genre warrants the intricacies of a vampire film. When the filled glass swarms up to the brim, the storytellers should find a way to make it worthwhile to the viewer. I'd rather watch a film that is truly brave and distinct and not taking the same old.
