What if someone saw Arrival in high school and was inspired to make it again, but for six dollars.

At a normal pace, this movie was 35 min long.

I thought this was pretty fantastic.
To all the naysayers, and there are many, yes this is a slow moving movie. In a day like today when everything on film moves at a break neck speed and every shot is edited to last no more than two seconds, a film like this is bound to bore you to death. To me, who actually loves to watch any type of film, I let every shot, no matter how long sink in as it plays, to let the story envelope and sink deeply in with a mood or style in which the filmmakers desire to display. I enjoyed the story but it's poorly executed between the terrible acting, horrible green screen and sfx, and just generally poorly shot.
This is baaaaad..
Probably some film student's first attempt at green screen shots. And that jittery camera work.. goddamn just outright made me angry.
- 0,5 for doing the old "face-shield with a light shining in the face" thing that doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

Mmm. Don’t watch…. Interesting concept, but had me wanting to sleep throughout the movie
Undeniably cheesy at times, downright silly at others; yet there's still something emotionally affecting about Lauren's experience.
The film is like a low budget Arrival (2016), but to be honest the movie is well written, thoughtfully paced, and well acted. While most low budget films of the 2010’s - 2020’s want to go the cheap Sharknado route, this film makes what it can out of what it doesn’t have.

The CGI looks like they payed a highschool drop out a total of $10 and a 6 pack of beer and gave him 2 hours to finish it.
