At least the black magician actually offered to pay. He may have given him bad luck, but at least he’s polite and warned him.
Feels somewhat reminiscent of aspects of Orpheus and Eurydice, though both are not nearly so beautiful to watch. The Husband has the craggy face and stern glare of more of a romantic gangster than cuckolded taxi driver, and the Wife cuckolds him alive and dead.
Not as detailed as some of the other Shaw Bros Do Black Magic films, but seems fairly detailed in how it builds up this black vs Budha Magic.
Slow in the first half , but when it goes, it goes and makes this worth the watch
