Wow. So this definitely falls into the 'so bad it's really, really bad' category.
Every single aspect of this film is executed to the lowest of standards. It's moronic, boring, ugly and complete and utter crap. Everything seems to be covered in this thin layer of discount CGI. I imagine this is what the Matrix 1.0 must have looked like when the machines started building it. From the pixel heavy sharks to Tara Reid's face, everything looks fake and wrong.
There are people out there who seem to have taken a liking to Sharknado. To be honest, compared to other Asylum fare it is passable. But comparing shit to shit doesn't change the fact that you're still looking at shit.
So yeah, it's shit.
OH MY GOSH!! This is the best thing I have ever seen. WOW!!! I’m blown away by how good it is. There is one scene in the movie where a shark is flying towards a guy and he just grabs a freaking chainsaw and cuts the shark IN HALF and after that happened this movie officially became a “MASTERPIECE”. I’m not kidding in every way, from beginning to end it’s just PERFECT. I watched the movie yesterday but I just couldn’t write a review, I needed 24 hours to think on what I just watched .The CGI is the best I have ever seen and can immerse you in the movie. Everything from horror, drama, romance, and anything else you can think of, trust me this movie has it. I honestly didn’t want it to end and it left me in tears cause it’s so good and sad. I CAN’T wait to watch SHARKNADO 2 :)
It's better than The Godfather. Truly a cinematic marvel to behold.
The fact that this movie puts on a straight face and tells audiences that the combo of a shark within a tornado is actually a scientific possibility with no plausible data to back it up is the greatest example of acting that has ever been put on the silver Syfy screen.
With directorial work that would put Kubrick and Scorsese to shame and special effects that would stir jealousy into the visionary minds behind Alien and Jurassic Park, Sharknado is really, truly a television cinematic masterpiece that we'll be talking about for many years to come.
this is the worst movie i've ever seen but i'm so glad i watched it,, like seeing a shark fly into a power line and die of electrocution was so life changing
