    I’m sure I am missing a lot of references because I’m not from Israel and don’t speak Hebrew, but this was a bit confusing and messy. I think the main storyline is that there is a cult, but it’s shown in like two random scenes. I don’t understand what the point was, but I did like Jackie.

    All in all, it's not a very good movie. The Tel Aviv condescension really annoys me as a native of Beer Sheva, and it's very frustrating to watch these kinds of movies. Asher and Jackie's taxi driver scene was quite nice, but the scene of Shimrit in which her head is berthed at the table was shocking and melodramatic. The rest of the film was mostly boring. It was built like a musical, but not a very successful one.
