Manoj Bajpayee is so so good in a bad film.
Though at times it is predictable and suffers from a few pacing issues, the writing has enough weight to keep one hooked. Manoj Bajpayee is quite aware of his skills and knows how much mastery to exhibit in the various film choices he makes.
Manoj Bajpayee should just quit taking cop roles, his Sherlockian moments in every film are downright comical.

Silence… Can You Hear It? is a generic whodunit which is mostly engaging. The story revolves around ACP Avinash Verma (Manoj Bajpayee), who along with his team, has to find the killer behind a body found on a hill near Mumbai.
The visuals, staging of certain scenes and overall direction constantly reminded me of the Hindi TV show CID, which is one of my favourites. Because of that, I couldn’t experience the feeling of watching a usual mainstream thriller film. However, that didn’t feel like a major issue for me as the film progressed. The film started off well by introducing the mystery and all important characters. The investigative scenes were engaging enough, if not gripping and thrilling.

Silence is a boring and long crime thriller. They could have pulled this film in less than 90 mins yet dragged it for two hours with unnecessary scenes and drama. Even Manoj Bajpayee couldn't salvage this thriller. Skip this one without a doubt.

This movie is not worthy of Manoj Bajpayee, I mean his performance was too artificial.
Easily could have chopped of 40 mins of the film, could have made crispier & interesting but they base story is not strong enough to develop in the first place.

Uninteresting and bland crime thriller. It would probably be an ok episode of some crime tv show. But it tried, there was an attempt but failed to live upto it.

Solid murder mystery while you're watching, but I watched this two months ago and I don't think I remember a single thing about it. I actually forgot I had even watched it until I saw the trailer and was like oh... that one. Manoj Bajpai is fantastic as usual, supporting cast is also good, I just wish the script was better because some of the things characters do don't make any sense. In the end, decent watch but go in expecting a very average murder mystery.
