A woman with the world’s worst case of precognition helps a police detective work his way through a nest of cop movie cliches.
Seriously, this lady can see about 3 seconds into the future. Just long enough to know something is going to happen, but not long enough to make it count. Obviously, as the story goes on, her power becomes more and more useful, but it’s pretty funny to watch her go through the first half of this being totally useless.
Otherwise, the plot is a needlessly complicated battle between petty criminals and investors over a missing drugs shipment and a piece of info that’s fallen into the psychic lady’s possession.

watching a detail rich film like this always makes me realize how anemic most films are when it comes to those fine touches. it's like most media purposely tries to keep its characters and locations as vanilla as possible on the exterior, almost as to not offend or something. not alienate? the result being a kind of self-fulfilling prophecy where any attempts at this now does end up alienating, not in small part due to media itself turning more and more things into negative tropes.

filled with hazy unfoldings and fast-paced chases, i think i need to rewatch this to soak (and appreciate) everything in.
by far my favorite song ji-hyo film. thrillers suit her, plus she’s so cute here, esp. on that bit where she delivered the traffic report in the car, and that bob, she’s like akane tsunemori in the flesh.
