Speaking for the Dead, a short film that played prior to "Tension Structures" at the 2020 Hot Docs Online Festival captures the aftermath of the Grenfell Fire, specifically picking up 6 days after the horrific blaze that took the lives of 72 people in 2017. The apartment primarily housed low-income and working class families, that were made up of predominantly ethnic-minorities. The lack of safety-regulations in the building, the neglect from the government on a fast and adequate response for the residents has been well-documented elsewhere - and where my conversation around the tragedy will end.
