A student's increasingly intimate line of questioning causes his interview with a local horror host to take a vulnerable turn.
Nope, sorry, just didn't like this. It didn't work for me, mainly because it didn't feel authentic at any point.
A nice short film that reflects on what it means to share what one loves with others while struggling with being loved themselves. It briefly touches upon the intersection of being a horror fan and being gay, which is quite important given the fact that gay horror participants are often overlooked.
I felt like this film just felt short of being satisfying, but I appreciate the thoughts I was left to ponder as it ended. Nice shots and setting as well!

A good mockumentary that I wouldn't mind this being an actual horror host. Every horror host - local or not - has their own story to tell on how they grew up in the horror community.
So I dig this short.
Interview with a retired TV horror host becomes a therapy session. Speaks to any struggling, or retired artist. Left me wanting more.
i liked the vulnerability, the way it’s interviewing after the host has long stopped his show and is dealing with the existential angst of having peaked already. also LOVE the aesthetic.
The mise-en-scène was already giving me all the feels already and then they delved into why we identify with horror films and I just felt seen.
