I needed a small time killer today after having two heaping feasts of blockbusters with "Kong: Skull Island" and "Logan", so went with the movie that caught my interest during theater checks at my job that most people were shrugging off.
I've always liked movies that take place entirely in one location with a set of random characters doing their things, so this looked up my alley, despite the negative press/feedback.
Anna Kendrick is funny and absolutely adorable and I always end up forgetting that because the movies I've seen with her lately, she's often surrounded by one that isn't that great ("Trolls"), bad ("Get A Job"), or down right awful ("Mr. Right"). Thankfully, this one was pretty good.
