My god, just fuck a tree already. Nobody is watching, just fuck them all. I bet Thoreau didn't shy away from fucking trees.
An insightful take on one of the most infamous domestic terrorists in American history, and certainly one of the most prominent in a decade that seemed to compete with the 1960s and 1970s.
The somewhat experimental direction combined with incredible dynamic camerawork helps differentiate the film from others. The cinematography, in particular, is excellent. And Sharlito is fantastic as Ted, and the option to view everything through his perspective lets us appreciate (sometimes even partly agree, though never with the methods) what apparently led this man to perform these horrific atrocities. However, the fact that the actor resembled a buff version of Harry Dean Stanton was highly distracting.
All in all, again, an interesting look at a man with many…
I'm so glad I like this, I got hella hyped after watching the trailer, and I've been waiting for my man Sharlto to get another lead role for a while now, and what better lead role than the fucking Unabomber.
"Ted K" is a meditative psychological thriller that transports us into the world of Theodore Kaczynski, better known as the "Unabomber", the once accomplished mathematician who shook the USA and rebelled and alienated himself against technoindustrial society.
There are a lot of stylish elements that don't "fit" at first, but they came together at the end, and I think that going for non-conventional choices to dive into Ted's complex mind was kinda genius. Chameleon Copley is brilliant again, dude is…
hate it all u want but the explosion scene with alice n chains playing and unabomber writing “fbi suck my cock” goes unbelievably hard
Interesting look into the life and psyche Ted Kaczynski led by a solid performance from Sharlto Copley. I just frankly found it uninteresting overall. Even fell asleep for part of it & didn’t feel the need to ask for a rewind. Just wasn’t for me I guess, which is okay.

if you’re looking for an intriguing analysis of the life and mind of Kaczynski watch something else. if you liked midwit character studies of “le crazy” men who get no bitches (Joker, Nightcrawler) you’ll love this one. two hours of Ted whining on the phone of how he gets no pussy. and when he’s not whining he imagines some random old woman is a young woman and that they are dating (THE WORST PART OF JOKER MADE EVEN WORSE). To top it off it’s tied together in scenes with no continuity and horrid editing. Ted will just wonder onto a lumberyard with no shirt and start doing shit and then call some woman a bitch for no reason, i guess…
The Patron Saint of Murderous Incels.
This film produced within me an unexpected torrent of emotional reactions, along with opening the floodgates on a host of memories attached to the time of Ted K’s crimes and manifesto release being mainstream news. The Unabomber’s manifesto was published in the Washington Post, September 19, 1995. As fate would have it, at that time, I was working at a now-defunct magazine, comics, pornography, sport cards and collectibles emporium in Minnesota called Shinders. It was a small chain of stores and happened to be about the only place in the state one was able to walk into and purchase a current print copy of WAPO or the The New York Times or what have…
