Meaningless. If there was something else to it, I'm sorry I have either missed it or have called out what has made the ultimate meaning look futile. Calling this a film is comparable to the likes of calling a vine compilation a film. Film in my opinion is to express. Sure you could make the claim that this tries to express why the director views the nature of his small world so beautiful. However, there comes a point where you have either gained an interest within the viewer - to incite their perspective and resonate with their feelings - or totally lose track of your intention or that intention itself becomes to self indulgent to not realise that it has…

When it’s your first short “film” and it’s not got a narrative. You’re setting yourself up for failure. A minute of what looks like my uncles back garden isn’t gonna bring people in. It’s a minute long and I found myself bored. If you’re going to have a title with “the beauty of” please use something with substance. Go to the forest, go to a beach and record the waves. Do something. You have no substance and is the reason for the failure in my opinion. This is your first attempt so of course it isn’t going to be perfect. Please just remove the bird noises, I hear them in my sleep now.
