The first honest portrayal of children playing house I've ever seen.
For sure, the juxtaposition between children playing make-believe and the adult themes contained within that drama stirs the emotions at the beginning, but the more that I think about it, the more I realize how dishonest it is to think that children haven't been doing this exact thing for a long time. The membrane between children's media and adult media has been ever thinning since the birth of TV because children have an easier access to media depicting these situations, only accelerating with the birth of YouTube. You all remember those content farm videos a few years back that made Elsa pregnancy an uncanny meme?
