The things we witnessed in Der Bunker was both weird and serious all at the same time.
The movie had a weird feeling of strangeness and funny moments. Yet it held a tone of serious moments within as well. Not completely scary, just other unsettling and offbeat.
The characters were interesting ones, especially that of the nameless student and Klaus. A strange family to say the least and possibly a coming of age. This movie does dive into a horror element closing in on the 20 minute mark to watch out for.
Overall, the movie was a good one. You'll get taken back by the images and context of the family dynamic but soon you'll be involved with this just like the student himself.
