March Around The World 2019 - Film #5 -IRELAND
This is a down to earth, seemingly naturally constructed documentary of the pilgrimage of four Irishmen by sea, from Dublin Ireland, to the Cathedral of St. James in Santiago Spain. Over 3 years in the merry month of May, in a handmade traditional Naomhog, a wooden Irish boat covered in tarred canvas, these four neighbours set off.
Danny Sheehy, a poet from Dingle, Brendan Begley, a musician from Kerry, artist Liam Holden and stonemason Brendan Moriarty with little experience or knowledge of what they are in for. Ignorance is bliss, and they learn to appreciate the blisters!
