  I’m a little disappointed, everything about this movie outside of Kurt Russell looks and feels like a shitty sitcom. I also have to mention the abomination that was the CGI elves, and also how horribly the children characters were written.

  But, I will say this is the first time I’ve seen Santa look like a believable person as opposed to an over the top caricature in a movie. Although I’ll always have a soft spot for Paul Giamatti’s Santa, Russell is probably the best on screen Santa since Richard Attenborough in Miracle on 34th Street.
