Arkin escapes with his life from the vicious grips of "The Collector" during an entrapment party where he adds beautiful Elena to his "Collection." Instead of recovering from the trauma, Arkin is suddenly abducted from the hospital by mercenaries hired by Elena's wealthy father. Arkin is blackmailed to team up with the mercenaries and track down The Collector's booby trapped warehouse and save Elena.

So hi hello, in spite of popular opinion I’m here to tell you that I love this sequel so much more than the original film. It’s a total case of “bigger and better” actually working and I wish I could tell you why so many other people don’t feel the same way but I just can’t. I’m certainly not saying that they are wrong or that their opinions are not to,be taken seriously, but what I am saying is that I’m right so make of that what you will.
The set pieces in this one are super fun and the whole aesthetic is just that super slick popcorn movie that looks and tastes amazing even if ultimately there’s not that much…
Sometimes size doesn't matter.
The plot picks up right where we left, Arkin in a trunk but is rescued after a nightclub massacre and is teamed up with a bunch of mercenaries to rescue a girl.
Things start off with a banger of an opening scene and continue things with a decent enough pace filled with violence, gore and all the usual stuff but not as effective as they were in the first flick. And there are a lot of things that work as a turndown when compared to the predecessor.

The opening warehouse rave Massacre is total blood soaked insanity and might be my favorite thing featured in both of these movies. I find it interesting that these were almost Saw films (or at one point conceived as Saw films) and wonder how that would have turned out of it all went down differently. Anyways, I dig these and definitely want a sequel.

Maybe it is the creepy mask. Or the guy from Criminal Minds who shags A.J.. But for some reason I really like this series more than I should. Cool sequel. Lee Tergesen was great and went out like a boss. Bring on Part 3 The Collector's Collection.
Missy Solomon is simply an icon, the stump scene is everything, she deserved to be a final girl!

When the password for the goth club was "never more" I almost turned it off but I stayed with it and good thing because...no actually it wouldn't have made a huge difference this is mostly just fine.
In the Collection, the sequel, the collector now has a giant murder factory that he throws raves at where he kills dozens and dozens of people, there are flyers, and the cops never figure out to go to this warehouse. Instead, there is one survivor in there and the guy from the first film uses bullshit training to lead a swat team back to the murder factory. This film used the extra budget…
