Yoshitaro Nomura directs Ken Ogata, in a two hour drama, about a man who's philandering has dire consequences for those around him.
Nomura was a noir director in the 60s, and while I enjoyed those films, he turned more to drama later, which I feel was the right career direction.
There are some issues to point out here before I praise the film, there is a degree of construction throughout this film where you do see the hand of the director, there's a point where you'll wonder on credibility, the soundtrack both elevates at times, gets in the way at others.
