Ich schnalls einfach nicht ... muß Wesley Snipes irgendeine Hypothek abbezahlen oder hat sonst Schulden? Wieso kurbelt der Mann seit ein paar Jahren einen drittklassigen Videotheken Kracher nach dem anderen herunter – und dabei einer schlechter als der andere? Bei Darstellern wie van Damme oder Lundgren macht das ja nichts, aber gerade Snipes hat schon eindrucksvoll bewiesen daß er mehr kann und ist in diesen Filmen sträflich unterfordert ... ebenso hier. Mit stoischer Eisesmiene kämpft er sich als cooler Agent durch eine plumpe Billighandlung und diverse Kugelhagel, schießt viel, klopft ein paar lockere Sprüche und dann läuft auch schon der Abspann. Für billigen Actionzeitverteib taugt das ganze glatt noch was, ich mag diese Filme trotzdem nicht – sie spielen stets…

I wasn't as much of a fan as I was expecting it to be. Far too plot-heavy for my liking, as this one seems to pile on the twists and double-twists for the sake of trying to think it's got a cleverer storyline than it does, which forsakes us the action that requires such storylines to be more relevant. There's only two real scenes in here that work as an action film, the assault on the safe house where Snipes barely gets away and the shoot-out at the motel that turns into the three-on-one car chase through the streets, and neither one was all that great on it's own merits.
