  allora, senti questa... ci sono gerry scotti, annie wilkes e paulie pennino di rocky chiusi in un ascensore... solo che questa non è una barzelletta, ma un film di merda.
  c'è un conduttore di quiz che viene tenuto prigioniero e torturato da una pazza in un ascensore di un palazzo. a parte l'idea banalotta e poco ispirata, la sceneggiatura ha più buchi di un eroinomane e sono presenti scene talmente idiote da mettersi le mani in faccia. emblematica quella in cui il protagonista riesce a dare l'allarme e nella quale sono coinvolti altri due tizi fuori dall'ascensore ignari di tutto. sarebbe da raccontare tutta per il ritardo mentale e le minchiate che succedono nel giro di 5 minuti, ma non…

  A very strong film, and more than I was expecting for such an ultra low-budget production.

  Jack (James Parks) is an obnoxious gameshow host who lives a fancy lifestyle. One night, he finds himself held hostage in his building's elevator by a strange woman (Caroline Goodall). She ties him up and forces him to play a "gameshow" of her own, with torture-porn results.

  Considering the majority of the film is set inside the elevator, it manages to sustain this as a suspenseful setting for its 85-minute runtime. The highlight of the film are the two lead performances; as sick and twisted as this woman's game is, just who is in the right and who is the wrong is left ambiguous,…

  Has some intense moments, but overall, it's a mediocre and predictable thriller. However, the last twist and how the female lead character reacts to it is kinda interesting and makes the movie a little more complex. Until they put in another final twist that retracts the previous one and i am not sure if i liked that, because i feel like it lessens the impact of the ending.

  Radjeno je po istinitom dogadjaju, ali sumnjam da se ovako desilo. Zanimljiva ideja pre svega producenta kako snimiti jeftin film u liftu ali isto tako prica puna rupa i sa losom glumom tako da smo na kraju dobili splacinu za koju sam jedva cekao da se zavrsi, a morao sam da vidim sta ce se desiti na kraju.

  A popular quiz show host is trapped in an elevator by a mysterious woman planning an elaborate payback for a crime she believes he is guilty of. B-movie premise soars above average thanks to tense performances by Goodall and Parks and director Coglitore's elegant mise-en-scene and only really falters over minor writing sloppiness.

  E is for The Elevator 2015 on Tubi

  wow there are SOOO many films named The Elevator. So many in fact that this one had to add the ungainly 'Three Minutes Can Change Your Life'
  part to its title just so it wouldn't get lost in the shuffle

  Which is a shame as this particular elevator is a fairly good psychological thriller that wouldn't work quite so well if weren't for two magnificent actors who give it their all.

  TLDR: this Elevator has ups and downs but I never felt that I got the shaft
