Cody Vibbart clearly worked his ass off to put this together. The mid 2000s animation has a bit of charm to it, and for that, I give this a star.
However, the script and pacing are godawful - full of really boring jokes, piles and piles of nonsense exposition, long drawn-out scenes explaining the same thing over and over. Voice acting is all over the place, with attempts at "clever" improvisation failing to rise above a bunch of kids making a home movie. And it's two hours long.
I appreciate the amount of hard work that went into this venture. I really do. But it had 13 years to trim the script of all the extra fat and edit this marathon into a reasonable length and endurable pacing. Unfortunately, it didn't, and what is left is bloated nonsense.
