When the 8th movie in your franchise makes over 500 million dollars globally in one week, does it matter what the critics think?
The Fate of the Furious reminds me of the WWE. Dom turns heel. Deckard turns face. The Rock does a Rock Bottom. People fight. Cars drive. Characters drive tanks and practice extreme body boarding. One of the baddies looks like a Game of Thrones pirate. Charlize Theron is a Total Diva. Scott Eastwood makes my day. Kurt Russell is the man! Ludicrous is ludicrous. Tyrese's Roman might be the heart of the franchise. I know Ramsey's last name. Hell yes!!
My favorite character is Jason Statham's Deckard. The fella is CRANKED to the max. His going all…
"The Fate of the Furious" is the worst "Fast and the Furious" movie, betraying everything that fans love about the series.
The first 10 minutes of “The Fate of the Furious” have everything that you could ever ask for in a “Fast and the Furious” movie, or any other movie for that matter. Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) swaggers through the streets of Havana, tasting the local flavor as a bass-heavy Cuban pop song bangs on the soundtrack. The sun is shining, the cars are classics, and the girls are wearing hot pink thongs that make their butts pop off the screen like they’ve been post-converted into 3D. It’s like someone threw a Pitbull video and forgot to invite him.
Then,…
now i don't know much about marvel but i fully believe that even the weakest member of toretto's team could singlehandedly take on any avenger and win in under 60 seconds. dwayne could rip apart iron man's suit with his bare hands, ms. rodriguez can and would beat the hulk's ass, and tyrese! could! make! thanos! cry! these movies make superheroes look like little costumed bitches running around in their jammies sorry "captain america" but the street always wins
Objectively terrible, makes the last two seem tightly constructed and relatively coherent, still mostly a blast. Statham gets an extended HARD BOILED homage.

SYNOPSIS: When a mysterious woman seduces Dominic Toretto into the world of terrorism and a betrayal of those closest to him, the crew face trials that will test them as never before.
From a fan perspective, "The Fate of the Furious" pretty much falls in line with the last two movies, a.k.a. it belongs right at home with the superhero spy flick trappings that began in "Fast & Furious 6." For everyone else, the unrealistic but fun chaos and ingenuity this series…

Turns the franchise's greatest strength -- its meticulous, borderline insane obsession with its own continuity -- into its biggest weakness. The stunts and the physics never made sense, but the characters and their relationships always did. Not anymore.
The final chase sequence was an educational experience because I had no idea the Fast and the Furious team singlehandedly caused the ice caps to melt.
Why do people feel the need in their reviews to call this dumb or silly or stupid? Who would want a serious take on this that would strip it of the "make it rain" sequence or the "lassoed" car sequence or the ridiculous banter? I suspect anyone quick to point out this movie isn't smart probably likes movies that are only superficially smart. This series continues to plunge into wild plot twists like a 30s serial, and it's still a total blast. Keep 'em coming!
ME AT THE JAILBREAK SCENE: well that's the coolest action scene of the entire franchise. don't know if they're topping that.
ME AT THE 'ZOMBIE' SCENE: i gotta stop doubting these folks

For a movie with a lot of ice, it's not cool at all. Follow me for more "funny" "jokes"
Repeat viewings of these movies are fun, but frustrating? Funstrating? Ahhhhhh that could mean something else.

➕Positive:
-The action sequences were amazingly produced and were very entertaining to watch
-The movie was on full adrenaline at all times (there was never a time when I was bored)
-The film was also very deep and emotional (mainly Dom’s Story arch)
-Dwayne Johnson’s ‘Hobbs’ and Jason Statham’s ‘Deckard’ had brilliant chemistry together once again
-The story was easy to follow as it gave brief ‘recaps’ of the past events that would be mentioned or continued in the film…
BUENA
I will be having nightmares for years after watching this. Perfect for the halloween season. You think Freddy Kruger is scary let me introduce you to Vin Diesel! One of the scariest horror movies of all time...wait this isnt a horror movie? Damn it scarred the crap out of me! How the hell do these keep getting made and even worse make so much money?
And you may tell yourself “This is NOT my beautiful Family.” And you may tell yourself “This is NOT my beautiful franchise.”
playing THE ROAD TO F9 CONCERT & TRAILER DROP on loop until we finally get #JusticeForHan and Justin Lin's fateful return to the franchise !
real big brained to sneak a scene of jason statham shooting people in the face while holding a baby in the middle of a ten year long set piece that i had completely checked out of
Surprisingly, despite not having a lot of what I liked about earlier entries (first and foremost, Paul Walker), I found this one kind of enjoyable. The action sequences are all pretty good, even the lengthy climactic one, and Dom’s going-rogue (and reasoning for doing so) was silly and soapy enough to entertain.
The amount of fast and furious movies that have made me cry has become embarrassingly high
