First time around, back in 2014, I gave this 4-1/2 stars. I loved it.
This time, not so much. It's not because I could anticipate what was coming; I remembered absolutely nothing about the film. Zilch. So what changed? I must have. While there were some fantastic scenes in here (some that looked Wong kar-wai-y, some that looked like they were out of a Guy Maddin film), they really stuck out because the rest of the film, but for some great landscape photography, was sort of ordinary.
