this is instant top 5 most haunting films ever made material i am shaking....... went into this completely blind (that incredible poster and it being written and directed by the writer of the masterpiece that is Thelma (2017) had me sold) and i wholly recommend that you do the same but just brace yourself because you are in for a REAL treat let me tell you :)
I really don't wanna say too much at all about this - it's film you owe it to yourself to go in as blind as possible to. I don't think I've done this very often before, but I urge you not to read any reviews beforehand that look like they might give anything away about the plot. Just go see. And trust me, if you're a fan of deeply, deliciously uncomfortable, subtly weird horror, you want to see this one. It's a film that goes there, relentlessly.

This film got me off guard. I never expected it to make me feel so uneasy.
This film is carried the most by its incredibly talented ensemble of young actors/ actresses. I was genuinely terrified of these kids.
It's beautifully shot, atmospheric and chilling. It creates lots of tension and suspense. The sound design is magnificent. The premise is intriguing. The setting is used to enhance these dark elements from the screenplay and help build its atmosphere. It's cleverly executed. Unnerving, haunting, captivating...
