Seeing Steven Soderbergh's name in the credits as the director, I thought, oh, this should be pretty good. Along with name talent like Meryl Streep, Antonio Banderas, and Gary Oldman, I thought it was going to be pretty decent at least.
Told in a series of vignettes, Antonio Banderas and Gary Oldman mainsplain the Panama Papers scandal as if Adam McKay is behind the scenes puppeteering the whole thing.
I read about the whole Meryl Streep scandal, which would be spoiling the movie by talking about it. Basically, she breaks the fourth wall toward the end. As if mainsplaining the situation weren't enough, we need a little womansplaining as well.
