So this has been making the rounds on Letterboxd for a while now and something about that Oscar Isaac mustache and the premise sounded intriguing, therefore I gave it a shot.
While not everything clicked with me, I still enjoyed this short film. Besides learning something new with the whole letter room set-up, it made for a unique perspective on the whole police theme, with the whole conversation as the diner place perhaps the film's greatest moment. In addition, the score was very interesting, and all performers gave great performance.
All in all, the short film was still enjoyable and liked the way how it plays with its themes in its short runtime, even though there wasn't much to latch onto.

I'd legit commit a crime to get locked in the prison Oscar guards 🤗🤗🤗
Thank you Elvira Lind for sharing your beautiful husband with the world for 30 wonderful minutes 🤗🤗🤗 my only complaint is that his character has a cute dog and the dog wasn't featured enough! #ReleaseTheCuteDogCut 🐾
Oscar Isaac is understatedly fantastic in this dark comedy short, which doesn’t quite reveal why it’s funny until its final moments. The success of the entire project hinges on his facial expression in the last shot, and it totally works: he’s simultaneously sympathetic and completely laughable.
