Thankfully this thing is super saccharine, and it worked for me, as the the filmmaking overall was that of the majority of low budget films.
And while it's cool to see enby representation in a Christmas film, the way this info comes out is so forced and made me groan.
A hilarious, offbeat take on the Christmas romcom. Beginning in the dreary setting of a Hollywood-adjacent financial services firm, we learn that the company’s miserly CEO has experienced an off-screen moral awakening courtesy of three ghosts (or four if you count the first guy). Now consumed by the Christmas spirit, his staff is forced to prepare a party for their boss as he becomes further and further consumed by his holiday delusions.
The most important task, finding a truly magical Christmas tree, falls to lead character Pace, an agender office drone who doesn’t even celebrate the holidays. Nonetheless, as Pace finds themselves deep in the wilderness with axe in hand, they soon cross paths with a mischievous non-binary elf named…

Clearly this movie was made with a lot of heart and effort, even in spite of its small budget. Point in the film's favor, aside from some stock footage and a shot of a smoking microwave that's visibly off, they managed to work around the small budget pretty well. Also, the actors are doing very decently with their performances, all things considered.
