Decent making-of that's more in-depth featurette than comprehensive documentary lengthened to an hour. Most of the major players are interviewed with Demme and Foster absent except for archive clips and images. Interesting tidbits include Michelle Pfeiffer being Demme's first choice as Starling, cooperation the production had with the FBI, and Demme and screenwriter Ted Tally framing Lecter's escape sequence as a movie within a movie.
Eventually we'll probably see a more stylized Lambs documentary. Just hope it's not the fashionable thing of being four hours long, interviewing everyone, even the now retired catering manager regaling viewers of Hopkins's love for imported olives. Watched via MGM's Collector's Edition DVD.
