  Almost every moment with Anya Taylor-Joy is super fun other than Magik's blatant racism early on. It's not remotely played as being okay in the movie but still an odd choice.

  I had really hoped that this was going to be a sleeper hit but it just doesn’t come together as well as I wanted. If some of the awkward dialogue had been cleaned up this probably would have played out a lot better. 

  It struggles to be a coming of age AND a horror movie and the two styles are never blended, it just abruptly switches between the two and achieves nothing.

  Bad character development, and they gave me representation so BADLY ESTABLISHED that I can't even get stoked.…

  the movie really questioned how to show a character is gay and decided the best way was to have her watch gay scenes from buffy the vampire slayer

  Seriously, the leniency you are all giving these films is ridiculous.

  This is the worst Marvel movie I have ever seen. And I can't stand any of them, generally.

  The acting, the effects, the casual racism, everything is just abysmal.

  Tragic.

  At one time I was greatly looking forward this movie but I had heard so many negative reviews it killed my anticipation for it! A friend that I respect their opinion loved it so I was eager again to see it. I really enjoyed it! It is listed as a horror movie and it might be a little light on the horror and it might be a bit dark and gritty for fans of comic book movies. I enjoy both so for me it was a nice combination of the two! I kind understand why some don’t like it but give it a chance you might like it!

  Wie können sich 90 Minuten so lang anfühlen?
  Das geht, wenn einfach jedes scheiss Klischee aus den letzten 10 Jahren in einen Film gepackt wird, es einfach keinen Plot gibt und die Charaktere wie aus einem Hulu-Fantasy-Pilot wirken.
  Ja okay, für 12-Jährige ist hier womöglich zwischen Slenderman-Momo-Challenge-Horror und leidlichem Coming of Age irgendwas was versteckt, aber ich bin halt nicht mehr 12 und deshalb kann ich mit dem gebotenen Schmonz auch nichts anfangen.
  Übrigens, wir hatten Ghostbusters, Zurück in die Zukunft und E.T... was die Jugend heute für einen Schund ertragen muss, der regelmäßig auch noch von den meisten Kritikern durchgewunken wird, weil die alle einfach schon resigniert haben und gar nicht mehr in der Lage sind, Scheisse auch Scheisse…
