Student: Would you defend Hitler?
Stone: In theory, it would be my duty as an officer of the court.
Student: Hitler killed my great grandparents.

"The Night Of" demonstrate that HBO is not to be trifled with in 2016. First "Vinyl", followed by an awesome season of "Game of Thrones" and now this. (Still have "Westworld" at the beginning of October).

HBO’s miniseries The Night Of is a searing commentary on judicial system & rehabilitation through imprisonment, disguised as a murder mystery.
Beautifully written and acted series. Riz Ahmed and John Torturro were so amazing.
The Night Of is instantly gripping and is fascinating throughout. It kept me guessing its finale until it actually happened. Its characters are well rounded, real, and none are outright heroes or villains. It is a fantastic use of 8 hours.

i'm glad i can log this because i watched every episode the day it came out, wig missing, and if y'all don't give Riz that emmy i'm gonna crash the ceremony with my whole booty ass out

You're excited to go. You down a couple adderalls you typically abuse to stay more conscious; in this case, to hopefully be more present in the…
