Been a while since I've watched a more standard American cinema film. This was a nice change of pace from my usual artsy nonsense.
Endearing characters across the board, compelling story, surprised this hasn't gone down with the same acclaim that John Hughe's films have. Some interesting themes too, bringing up the Whiplash style "how far can you push someone healthily" thing, as well as a conversation on the difference between intelligence and knowledge.
Unfortunately, however, it seems to focus more on the cliche theme of "work vs personal life". Spiderman did it better.
Great film though, watch if you need something chill and nice.
