Sharon is Irish, 20, single, and living at home with her parents and a bunch of siblings. When she gets knocked up and refuse to tell who the father is, she's soon the talk of the town.
A simple enough premise, but the fun lays within the Curley-family. Their home interactions are highly enjoyable, filled to the brink with an Irish wit I really appreciated.
Tina Kellegher does well in her first lead (with only a support role from miniseries Murder in Eden behind her), but the star of this show is Colm Meaney playing Sharon's father. His performance is brilliant from his very first scene, and he gets a lot of screen time.
