A disappointing horror considering it's from the director of Laddaland, my pick for the best Thai horror. The director similarly has an inkling of a solid idea to base the film on -- the selfishness of the central teen to propel all events -- but he surrounds it with so much illogical behaviors and happenings, and it feels so stretched out. Performances and direction are solid, and it generates decent atmosphere (albeit half-hearted jump scares), but it could have been more.

I am a big fan of horror movies, BUT it’s also extremely easy to scare me so I had to watch this movie in the morning LOL I tried watching it at night, but my heart couldn’t take it. Honestly it wasn’t THAT scary, but still the few jump-scares got me even thought I was expecting them. I really liked it, the plot was interesting and developed greatly in unexpected ways. The ending, also, was perfect.

tbh good creepy horror about two swimmer dudes who can't take care of the girl they both crush on...that is the same girl. heteros back at it again. but anyway!! i enjoyed it and it had a good creepy vibe and scares

No me esperaba nada de nada de esta película, pero acabó entreteniéndome mucho. Los tres actores principales salen en la serie de tv "Hormones" y esa era la única razón por la que me apetecía verla. Pero, esperándome algo parecido a Last Summer, me encontré con una historia un tanto más entretenida y mejor hilada que la ya nombrada.
Me gustó la resolución de la historia, y aunque NO hubo sustos de ningún tipo (en el trailer parecía que sí), estuve atenta en todo momento. March, molas.

Life is all about competing. Not only swimming, but also love. The plot is neatly told and there were tension all over the place between Tan who relentlessly investigate the culprit behind Ice's suicide, and Perth who tried to cover up his tracks despite being continuously terrorized by the vengeful ghost of Ice. The suspense when Perth found out he was pregnant and used all means only showed him that he was a self-fulfilling individual with a hint of cowardice. Overall, this movie is worth to watch if you like teenage drama, but with dark twists here and there.

Despite with too many plot holes, there's a plenty to enjoy in The Swimmers. Good scares and a nice twist. Also, the performances are likeable.

泰國鬼片有些堅驚有些堅爛，這部不算太驚，也不算是爛，整體感覺其實不俗。故事不曲折，電影以插敍手法表達效果不錯，到尾段揭盅解謎有點意想不到，這世上最恐怖的並不是鬼。。。
btw，我其實分不太清楚兩位女角，所以開始看時有點混亂
