Fun, bubbly, if not light-weight rom-com about swinging bachelor who may finally have to settle down his wild lifestyle after meeting the right one.
Honestly - I would give this a higher score if not for some...problematic stuff. The main cast (Sinatra, Reynolds, Wayne, and Holm) all make for some very likable characters, and the script gives them a lot to work with. They're all very believable characters (for their time). The film itself moves at a fast pace, and it has some very worthwhile things to say about how commitment isn't a bad thing.
What holds it back is, admittedly, some of the cringey socialisms of the 50s. Like, the main character is dating twenty plus women besides the love interest, and she's apparently in the wrong for being upset with him? Awkward, to say the least.
But if you can get around scenes like that, this really is a lot of fun.
