The Terrys is a short film by Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim.
The fact that this played at Sundance and is now only available on eBaum's world sums it up perfectly.
Eraserhead by way of Trailer Park Boys but with this ending youtu.be/svsbhHBprTI
this 15 minute short is funnier than all of season eight of the office, that 70's show, and it's always sunny put together.
there is nothing i can write here except to say that if you are not a fan of tim and eric's special brand of humor, you will not like this, but, if you are like me and have a mental disorder preventing you from distinguishing between morbid and funny, you will find this funny. i genuinely laughed out loud for most of this. kudos to tim and eric for once again proving that they are the ballsiest and most hilarious men alive right now.
Probably my favorite thing that T&E ever created. Hope we get something new soon.
That first half of this short was so chaotically evil but it makes it up with that last half which was surprisingly cute (but still weird). If I had to describe it using three other movies it would be: 'Eraserhead', 'Night of the Living Dummy', and 'Tiger King'
Need more Tim and Eric short films. This is probably my favorite of the handful of them they've made.
I don't know how they do it, but this is a terrible shitpost with one joke and an hilarious stroke of genius at the same time.
Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim are the funniest men alive right now, and I will die on that hill. Their very appearance in anything induces inner hysterics and reduces the muscles in my face used for frowning to dead weight. Their style of humor is such a litmus test for whose wavelength I'm on, that I'm likely to be single forever, since I don't think I could have real romantic feelings for someone who found them off-putting. This short film is one of the few exceptions. I would blame nobody for finding The Terrys absolutely putrid. It may also be their masterpiece (though some of their Bedtime Stories give it some fair competition). It's for diehard, seasoned fans only, but…
