I don't know if Judd Apatow's latest film will connect with everyone on the same level, but it should surely connect with the aging Generation X crowd. I'm not 40 yet, but approaching it faster then I care to think about. Not only did I recognize myself in this film, but my better-half, my step-daughter, family, friends, co-workers, ect, ect...
The story itself mirrors the lives of it's main characters, it's sometimes unfocussed and messy but there's always something to talk about. It's 134 min running time could have surely been trimmed down by cutting out some of the supporting characters. The flip side of that however…
