Female American tourists are being kidnapped by a crime ring headed by a beautiful Asian woman. They're drugged and then sent to an island where they are kept as sex slaves to be used by wealthy tourists. Two agents are dispatched to rescue the women and put an end to this operation.

"I was waiting for you. They say wherever Jo Walker goes, Captain Rowland follows."
The penultimate entry in the Kommissar X series, this one finds super-suave private detective Jo Walker and ramrod-straight Capt. Tom Rowland teaming up to break up a human trafficking ring in Thailand. Main villainess Madam Kim Soo has a bit of a Fu Manchu thing going since she claims to have a beef with all Westerners, but her operation doesn't seem large enough to be a threat to more than a handful at a time. Perks up the most during the fist fights, of which there are more than a few, and the post-shower scene where Brad Harris, clad only in a towel, gets to show off his killer abs.

B. eine Massenschlägerei im Sumpf. A Kommissar X entry with Tony Kendall and Brad Harris in Thailand attempting to break up a white slavery ring. Pretty weak direction and a lack of extended action sequences hamper the production but the film does feature a flame-throwing ice cream truck, an RPG pistol, mud surfing and a midget with a mean right hook. It's not as dull as the abysmal Jagt die roten Tiger, but the franchise is definitely losing its zing at this point.

Falling squarely in the Krimi sub-category that I like to call the "Men's Adventure Krimi" — a sub that includes not only KOMMISSAR X, but also JERRY COTTON, the FU MANCHU cycle, and various Edgar Wallace "adventures" produced by Harry Alan Towers (think COAST OF SKELETONS or MOZAMBIQUE) — the KOMMISSAR X's splice their DNA from a handful of sources:
1. The Eurospy cycle, jump-started by the success of Bond. Everything from DEADLIER TO THE MALE to OSS 117.
2. The Mondo travelogue. Probably half of any given KOMMISSAR X features documentary-style footage of whatever "exotic" locale Jo Walker and Tom Rowland have been dispatched to.

Clearly this is aiming for the same vibe of James Bond, with a playboy detective, exotic locations, beautiful women and action sequences. Unfortunately it's not even close to the production values, writing, acting, directing, and pretty much anything to do with filmmaking of that franchise and why it was as successful as it was.
However, the movie does look good.

Kommissar X Film - AKA - The Island of Lost Girls
This is the sixth film in the series and it is a considerable step down from the first in many respects but at least for me it had one thing going for it. As soon as this film began, I felt right at home – literally – it takes place in Bangkok and unlike so many movies that are filmed in foreign locations, this one really takes advantage of its surroundings – almost a travelogue for the first 10 minutes as we sweep through the Wats (temples), Klongs (canals), traditional Thai dancers, tuk-tuk rides, crocodile farms, pictures of King Bhumibol when he was a young man on the walls…

Something of a return to form for Kommisar X, this sixth fim finds Joe and Tom investigating a cult of cat-hating snake-worshiping psychopaths running a sex-slavery ring in Bangkok. The plot makes no sense, but who cares? There's flame-throwers ice cream trucks and revolver-launched mimi-grenades and all kinds of goofy action scenes.

Secret agents Brad Harris and Tony Kendall fight a mysterious cult called The Golden Cats in India who want to ruin the world with karate and a bacteria that eats things. Lots of Judo chop! fights, but not one of the best Kommissar X outings.
