With a premise that so easily could have tumbled into uncomfortable waters, Together Together stays rooted in its clever banter, well timed tonal shifts, and commitment to keeping its central relationship completely platonic.
Ed Helms and Patti Harrison have electric chemistry, bouncing off each other like a well timed game of ping pong. I don’t think I’ve enjoyed a performance more from Helms since The Office. Harrison blew me away with the range she conveyed. I hope we see much, much more of her in leading roles.
Funnier than I expected, more heartfelt than I expected, and far more intimate than I could have ever anticipated. The flow of the story follows…
