This documentary is a glorious, truthful, powerful clusterfuck of a film.
It's tough to feel bad for anyone that's willing to pay $5K for Robbins' one-week Date with Destiny seminar aimed at transforming his or her life. Fortunately, this film gives you a taste of it. It obviously doesn't give you Robbins' entire program, but this film gives you everything else. Good, bad, bullshit, truthful, insightful, inspirational, corny, energetic, manipulative, desperate, intriguing, uncomfortable, emotional, etc., etc.
I don't know if this film will transform people. But at least, Robbins doesn't seem like a charlatan or a power hungry, money hungry, sycophantic narcissist. We get to see a man who busts his ass non-stop and developed a rare skill armed with…
