around halfway through I broke out into a cold sweat because I realised there was a chance mel gibson would make a cameo appearance. don't worry, he doesn't
“the worst movie i have ever seen in my entire life, keep in mind i have been here 51 years and seen quite a few films. megan, don’t you dare watch this, this movie is garbage.” - my anatomy teacher
there’s a point in this movie where two homosexual men that are dating dab to show their affection instead of kiss each other and that’s when i knew what i had to rate this
It’s definitely not perfect, but it has just enough to make it better than a lot of mainstream comedies.
the kind of movie where you spend an hour trying to figure out where it’s set and then suddenly there’s just a big building made out of the word “ATLANTA”
Okay so, last night I got an hour into the film and turned it off. But not because I was bored, but because this movie was so fantastic that I needed to watch it in two parts just to digest it. My God was I wrong about this movie in my last review.
Tracey Morgan's character made me laugh with every word that he mumbled in that silly voice of his haha. I thought this movie would be horrible but it did in fact make me laugh at times... at times. The film has some sharp writing, and the strength is Taraji P. It's fun, I just wish it said something important or interesting to justify the length and investment.

Rule #1 when it comes to judging a comedy is always “does it make you laugh?” If that answer is yes then that comedy did the job it set out to do. Some comedies choose to do more and others never even pass the first test. What Men Want manages to pass this test a few times throughout but overall, it was underwhelming from a comedy perspective. As a film, it’s even worse. This movie is so sloppily thrown together and conventional in every way. Most will be able to predict how it ends. There just isn’t anything new here. We’ve seen this exact film before but we’ve seen it done…
