Otra implacable acción del feminismo hegemónico español, de una izquierda que no es racista ni transfoba, pero que tampoco ayuda a visibilizar discursos más allá del blanco cis de clase acomodada. La lucha feminista es algo más que destruir los techos de cristal, mucho más que la igualdad salarial. La lucha feminista va más allá de la conciliación laboral, tiene más matices dentro de el discurso "puritano" del abolicionismo o el discurso "liberal" pro-porno y pro-prostitución.

Otro documental más en el que el discurso es liderado por blancas cisheterosexuales de clase media. El discurso de las trans, las racializadas, las gitanas y las migrantes queda minimizado al máximo. Está presente porque saben que tiene que estar presente, pero no está en igualdad. No hay perspectiva de género más allá del binarismo. No hay perspectiva de clase.

Así pues, un fiel retrato de lo que es el feminismo en este país.

La lucha será interseccional o no será.

El docu está muy bien si eres un ser que acaba de salir de un bunker en el que se encerró en los años 30 y no sabes de qué va el feminismo actual. Pero si hablas con gente y tienes internet de manera habitual echarás de menos un poco de matización, profundización, desarrollo, ... en definitiva: las respuestas a las preguntas que surgen de las respuestas que da éste docu. Eso sí, como sumario está genial.

Es bastante ligero y no aborda todos los temas necesarios pero como una breve introducción esta bien.
Hubiera sido bueno ver más intervenciones de distintos tipos de mujeres y en diferentes temas, no solo en los que se creen son los únicos que les competen (la raza, por ejemplo).
Ojalá esta abra las puertas para más documentales sobre el feminismo en grandes plataformas.

Pues bueno, un poquito básico (esto de que te pongan a mujeres no blancas sólo para hablar de cosas de racismo pero no para otros temas como si no supieran de nada más) pero te crea algunas inquietudes interesantes.

Eso sí, esos vídeos de banco de imágenes que parecían sacados de una publicidad de clínica dental eran horrrrrorosas.

decir que las mujeres tenemos derecho a vendernos es ocultar que los hombres tienen derecho a comprarnos. porque si la otra opción es no comer, la prostitución jamás será una elección.

Todos tenemos que ser feministas, punto.

Obvio está bastante ligero, pero como ellas dicen, si ya está en Netflix es que está llegando a más gente.

I have mixed feelings for this documentary and I don't quite know how to rate it. For the first time, I will abstain my "stars". I really appreciate that this is a documentary focused primarily on the Spanish feminist struggle: we watch and read on news in documentaries too much about the feminist movement in the United States, and we're swallowed as it's universal, true and equal. In this documentary, while dealing with important internal criticisms of feminism itself and exposing possible perspectives on the issue at hand, there were several scenes that could have been avoided. Unnecessary exposure didn't add to the discussion beyond making it visually excessive.

the never-ending competition between men and women in a ridicules meaningless way.
feminism has to set it's options and respective about women themselves as a whole human being not dividing us only as emotional creatures
or machines. are woman capable mentally and physically as man or not? are they more important kind? are they more aware and have deeper emotions than man? woman needs to deal with these conflicts and answer them (probably more than man do) so they can accept themselves and their position, not just fighting over if they can do what man do or not, or if they meant to set at home or study and get a job.. that's so meaningless and inhuman! also feminist can't say that man are all about their jobs and they see life in a materialistic shallow way and think this is how it should be for women too! this is just humiliating for both genders.

- Abuso sexual y replanteamiento de la noción de consenso
- Interseccionalidad
- Feminismo transexcluyente

Reconocí a autoras que había leído previamente (Ana de Miguel) y también se retoma el punto de vista de representantes políticos y hasta la postura rancia de la RAE frente al lenguaje inclusivo.
Bueno para quien no sabe gran cosa y entretenido para quien ya ha leído un poquito más.

I am very optimistic. The future is ours. 

No hay que olvidar que este documental no pretende ser un manifiesto feminista ni el eje sobre el que el movimiento gire. Es un acercamiento al tema. Por supuesto que casi todxs sabemos y conocemos el discurso, y aun así consigue mover algo dentro de ti porque parece mentira que en pleno 2020 haga falta hacer un documental sobre esto, que haya gente que siga negando su necesidad o que lo intente radicalizar porque vea sus privilegios en la cuerda floja.

¿Tiene un corte ideológico? Por supuesto. ¿Ese hecho no le quita veracidad ni legitimidad? También.

Considero que es un buen punto de partida para comenzar la crítica de la sociedad actual y el cuestionamiento de tu realidad y privilegios.
Creo que parte de que los temas y las opiniones fueran tan breves ayuda a que se fomente este diálogo interno y te apoyes de las perspectivas que muestra el docu para informarte más 💚

i think this documentary goes through all of the most important postulates for modern feminists and nicely shows how diverse the feminism really is.

bonus points for making me really want to take to the streets and protest against f* patriarchy

An amazing documentary. I really liked that there were women talking from different perspectives, different age groups, different professions, and we heard the side of a trans woman, and a few women of colour. I wish there were more than one representative of the minority groups, but often they aren’t included at all, so this is a step in the right direction. I liked that not all women agreed on all subjects so we got to hear a variety of arguments.
If you’re a feminist, most of the information presented in the documentary will be known to you, but it’s interesting to watch this, because it focuses more on the feminist issues and the struggles of women in Spain. Documentaries like this usually only show how things are in the USA.
However I didn’t like the explicitly violent scenes. They were unnecessary, and could possibly even be triggering.
