I wanted this to be good in 2004 and I wanted it to be good in 2021 but it's not particularly good
sure, this is a guilty pleasure comfort movie
BUT
if this film didn’t exist, paul bettany may have never worked with jon favreau so that 4 years later he could be offered the role of jarvis AND then he wouldn't have given us wandavision the way we know and love it
so y’all better start thanking wimbledon (2004) for its existence
James McAvoy is such a little shit in this but he is incredibly attractive so it doesn’t matter!!
Don’t know how to describe Kirsten Dunst’s performance in this other than it seemed like she did ADR for her entire performance? Like she’s an Italian actress from 1974 and some girl came in and did her voice? Like her voice sounds fake? She also goes for a jog in converse at one point in this movie!
Remember when movies were just successful white people continuing to be whitely successful?
