lovely short film by the brodie that's filled with some gorgeous b&w shots and tries to capture the absurdity and swiftness of time, in just how quickly something that was taken for certain yesterday, is gone today.

Considering the film had only 12 minutes, it is remarkable how the dialogue speaks about the state of man speaking. What really captivated me was the excellently written dialogue. I could feel and understand the many different fears and wonders that the character speaks about. The only aspect that holds this film back are the visuals. While the still shots and videos were interesting and the color contrast of black and white to full color made me intrigued, I could not make a solid connection to what the character was speaking about and relate it to the imagery presented. Ultimately, it was the excellent dialogue that kept me intrigued and wanting to find out more.

Elijah Winfield's strongest work visually and intimately, through careful composition and color techniques, Winfield communicates an emotion directors twice his age struggle to match with great originality. The voice of this film is clear, specific, and unearthly beautiful.
