The first half of this film rocks. The moment they got into the “trippy” stuff I immediately lose interest every time I rewatch it. A bloated mess of a film but it still has a soft spot in my heart.

Finally had the chance to see this on the big screen tonight. Watching it with a packed audience quoting along and cracking up warmed my heart. Fucking love this movie so much and I’m so happy I was able to see it in a theater.

Watching this again in your mid twenties vs. when you first saw it as a teen is quite the experience. I felt like I was watching an entirely different film than the one I remembered. 👀

I’m absolutely thrilled to watch anything by Edgar Wright, whose works have made a huge impact in my life. Even though I didn’t know much about the band Sparks besides a few tweets by Wright himself singing their praises over the years, I was interested in seeing what this low-key yet incredibly popular group was all about.
