The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part

The Lego Movie was such a pleasant surprise, it was always going to be tricky to follow up. Five years on, The Second Part is finally here proving just how hard it is!

It’s not like there are No Surprises this time (who’d be expecting a Radiohead/Elliot Smith joke in a family film!?), but perhaps some of the novelty of the original film has been worn off by The Lego Batman Movie and the lacklustre Ninjago Movie.

    A Quiet Place

Horror is in a good place at the moment. Blumhouse are producing multiple hits a year, Get Out was a massive critical and commercial hit and even an Oscar winner.

    Now comes A Quiet Place.
One of the best films of the year so far!
The tension starts from the first frame and doesn't let up for the tight 90 minute run time.

Sound is a huge element of this film in every way. The sound design is brilliant from…
