    Fans of the show who love the big exciting moments like the finales of seasons 4 and 5 are going to be disappointed that El Camino is a slow and relatively small scale production. The biggest action scene in the film is a contained Mexican standoff that lasts all of two minutes.

    Solid! Joaquin Phoenix gives a really great performance as expected, making his descent into madness completely believable. Everyone else is good but really he’ll be the only one you’re talking about. 

    The cinematography and production design really enhance the setting. This movie does a better job than any I’ve seen at showing how truly grimy, dark, and twisted Gotham is. I also really liked the musical score, which added a lot to conveying the emotions of the main character.
