Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald ★★

No, no, no.

JK Rowling shows a shocking lack of knowledge about her own universe which only further proves she is just looking to make some $$$.

Characters are either lazily written back into the story or are introduced and then never come back again. The third act just kinda starts it has NO build up like a movie should have. The only positives here are Eddie Redmayne and Jude Law, who both do good jobs in their poorly written parts. It's also visually accomplished.

But there are so many contradictions to the HP universe like Nagini is now an animagus? Apparently McGonagall can exist as a teacher when she wasn't even born yet? Apparently Nicholas Flammel the wise and powerful is a comedic relief character? Apparently people can apparate in and out of Hogwarts now?? Apparently Dumbledore has a brother that has NEVER been mentioned before???

If you're a Harry Potter fan you'll be confused and if you're not you'll be bored. The magic is gone ladies and gentlemen.

Sidenote: If you thought the Muggle character was funny in the last movie, all of his humor is just him yelling "Queenie! Baby!" the whole time.
