    "I'll always love you"

It's been a while since I reviewed anything but I'm going to try to get back to it. Though I say that every time but whatever.
This movie blew my fucking mind honestly. The story was amazing and the acting was spectacular. But more than anything this was the most beautiful movie I have seen in a long time. Even if the story and everything else had sucked I could watch it again just for that. If this wins best picture I will not be unhappy.

    "You're such a smart boy"

A movie that honestly had the potential to be really good falls completely flat in the end. This was a movie that sounded so very interesting but the complete lack of acting and honestly a story that never really went anywhere new or exciting made it boring. Pretty much every single person in this movie could not get their line delivery to match the emotion they were meant to be having (even though their faces…

"Would you like a cigarette Nick?"

Once again I have to say its been a while since I got the chance to watch a new movie, or any movie for that matter, college has me in class or doing homework constantly lately. This movie was incredible and fucked with my head in so many ways. I knew it was Catherine who had done all of the killing but she somehow managed to manipulate me to think (even if it was…

"We're gonna need a bigger boat"

This movie is one of the most intense, edge of your seat movies I have ever had the chance to experience. Spielberg creates so much intensity with so little. He creates his most intense moments solely with music and silence. It really makes you want to hold out until the end and really keeps you guessing as to what is happening next.
Even in all that intensity there are still moments of pure beauty.…

"Mother I am talking to you because God has stopped listening"

Its very hard to find the words to describe this. Amazing performances, amazing story, amazing cinematography, amazing direction, amazing edits. I don't even know how to begin to go further than that so I will leave it at that.

"I'd like to be friends with you"

It's been quite some time since I last reviewed anything or honestly got to even see a new movie because I've been so busy with school. I'm gonna try to get some movies watched and reviewed though.
This movie surprised me. I wasn't expecting the emotional impact of it. It definitely hit a few spots. I was expecting a light hearted, dancing movie and it really touched down on huge struggles of youth. It also really displayed the time period amazingly. John Travolta was very good and I'm very pleased with this one.

"I'm a star... I'm the greatest star... No one ever leaves a star. That's what makes one a star... The stars are ageless aren't they?"

This is an exploration of what fame does to people. Gloria Swanson uses all of her skills to create a character that is so crazed from the fame that she has lost touch with reality. It is a fantastic movie all and all. That is honestly all I feel needs to be said.

    "I'm not a drug dealer."

This movie is too long. I found myself losing interest within the first 45 minutes of this but I was determined to finish the movie in order to write a complete review of it. And that is the first thing I want to say. It is too damn long. This movie spends way way too much time making their shots and edits look unique and different. Time they in my opinion should have used to…

    "Famous people are more fun."

A young boy that wants to be a rock journalist goes with the band Stillwater on tour and learns all about life and relationships.

I haven't gotten much chance to sit down and watch a movie with classes starting up so I'm taking the weekend to enjoy some much needed movie time and this is where it starts. This movie left me wanting to listen to rock music and go on tour with some rock…

    "You are filth!"

I complain about characters not being developed enough all the time and this is the first time I am going to say the complete opposite. This character was so well developed that I felt so much for him. He is one of the best developed characters I have ever seen. He starts out coming off as just a complete asshole but as things begin to progress you realize he is a man whos concept of reality is…

"So you make it a habit to take toddlers into protective custody"

Brilliantly written and brilliantly acted for everyone in this movie. This movie really made me feel for the characters, even the ones that I wasn't expecting to like at all. They were all so well developed and so complex. It probably helped a lot that Ellen Page and Alison Janney were so incredible together as they always are. This was definitely a good netflix original.
