I'll be interested to see how I like this (or not) after another viewing. The longer I sit with it, the less I like it. This is legitimately confusing in the most frustrating ways. A lot of the actual time mechanics make enough sense, but the stakes are so muddy and unclear throughout. I never cared about anyone or anything, especially the longer the movie went on (which is the opposite of what you'd want, as a filmmaker, I'd think). This definitely feels like an entire movie written around one rather simple visual trick that isn't interesting enough to carry a movie on its own.
First half hour where this is just a spy thriller is tremendous. Loses tons of steam as it goes until it reaches a finale set-piece where I legit had no idea what the goal was until it was over. I wish this great cast was given something more interesting to do.
