Letterboxd — Your life in film

I assumed it was going to be one of those cool absurd horror but nope, it was just absurd.

Back to the OG.

It seems like watching fun coming of age movies or rom-com movies will be a weekly routine for my husband and I. In this week episode, I recommend him The Proposal, since it's one of my comfort movies. I fell asleep halfway the movie because we were watching it past midnight and assumed he fell asleep with me. Turns out, he actually finished the movie all by himself and said that he totally enjoyed it.

I'm not a DC fan and I don't even watched the other Batman movies, but it's Rob and Zoe so of course I'm going to the cinema right away. 

Anyway, this movie took too long. I'd immediately throw a four or even a five-star rating if they wrapped it up in two hours.

I'm gonna pretend that I don't watch this movie in 2022 and just enjoy the flow.

I'm rewatching this with my husband and he totally amazed with the whole figure skating world that when the movie ended, we spent almost two hours binging figure skating videos on Youtube until we fell asleep.

I don't even want to say it because I feel like I'm being mean but this movie is so shallow and pretty much exist to (1) help Tom getting out of his Spider-man persona (which is totally failed) and (2) trying to bring back the adventurous, complicated and twisted treasure hunter genre.

But that ending though, wow. That adds another solid star to my rating because I surely didn't see that coming.

this movie was hard-hitting and all yet idk how one should rate it especially with the recent case from one of the crew that turns out to be a sexual offender
